We’ve got good news. From 29 April 2024, Gojek, along with our friends at ComfortDelGro, will work together to ensure you can get rides faster – so you can count on Gojek whenever you need to get to places.

  1. You book a GoCar
  2. Your booking goes to both GoCar drivers and taxi drivers on ComfortDelGro
  3. A driver accepts your trip and picks you up (your app will show the vehicle type and plate number, as seen on the screenshot below)

Enjoy less wait times on Gojek. Now, you’ll get to book a GoCar as usual, but you may get a ComfortDelGro taxi too. Not to worry – the fare you’ll pay will remain unchanged.

All additional fees applicable to a GoCar ride will continue to apply for trips matched with ComfortDelGro taxis.

Frequently asked questions

Why is a ComfortDelGro taxi picking me up?

ComfortDelGro’s fleet of taxis means you may get a ride in less time, so you’ll have to wait less. 

How will I know that I’ve been assigned a ComfortDelGro taxi?

If you’ve been matched with a ComfortDelGro taxi, the ComfortDelGro icon will appear as your driver’s picture. You’ll also be able to see the vehicle type and plate number.

Do I have to pay a metered fare if I get a ComfortDelGro taxi?

Not at all. You’ll just have to pay the same trip fare as stated on your app, unless you’re booking a metered GoTaxi ride.

Can I add multiple destinations if I get a ComfortDelGro taxi?

If you’ve booked a GoCar and gotten a ComfortDelGro taxi to pick you up, you will not be able to change your pick-up or drop-off points, or add destinations along your route. 

I can’t send messages to my driver.

The live chat feature is unfortunately not available on GoCar rides with ComfortDelGro taxis – but you can still give them a call, as usual. Your numbers will remain masked for privacy.

I left an item in a ComfortDelGro taxi.

Not to worry – you’ll still be able to reach out to your driver via call. All you need to do is go to My Orders > History, and choose the relevant trip. Or else, you can write in to Gojek via Help > Lost & Found. 

Can I choose a taxi instead?

Yes, you can. All you need to do is tap on GoTaxi when you’re booking a car ride, and the app will find you a metered taxi instead.

I want to leave a tip to my taxi driver.

Thank you for your generosity! Unfortunately you won’t be able to tip via the app if you’re matched with a ComfortDelGro vehicle, but you can always leave a cash tip instead.
